Claims Pre-Processing
service saves you time and increases productivity.
Do you spend
valuable time contacting providers to file with the primary carrier,
communicating with parents for a copy of the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or
tracking claims processing, deductibles, and payment history?
Upon your
request, The Starr Group
will manage the pre-claims processing for you, providing the following services
at no additional charge:
 | Accept, process, and file all
claim-related items. |

 | Maintain records showing the name and
policy number for Primary Insurance. |

 | Submit Claim Forms and questionnaires
to the providers. We include an explanation of the
nature of Excess coverage and explain the claims process. |

 | Correspond with parents requesting
Explanation of Benefit (EOB) forms. |
|
 | Forward completed claims to the
Insurance Company designating amounts to be applied to the
deductible. |
|
 | Send to the Athletic department a
list of claims subject to the deductible. This list
includes the name of the athlete, name and address of the
Medical vendor, and date of service. Checks can be
generated from this list with all required information - no
searching for stray details. |

 | Handle all inquiries. All
information is entered into our customized computer system. When
parents, someone from your school, or students call, full
information is available to the
Starr Group client
representative in real time. Parents or students are
instructed to call The Starr
Group
with questions on our toll-free number. Our expert staff is
knowledgeable and courteous. We quickly and
efficiently answer questions, explain benefits, verify
coverage and provide claim status. |

We take the time to have each athlete complete HIPAA
authorization forms, so that the flow of information remains smooth, and all
parties are compliant with HIPAA privacy regulations.
